Avalon Dublin Station consists of 5-level, Type IIIA residential buildings, and 6-level, post-tensioned parking garage structures for 252 apartment units and a 362 parking space respectively on an approximately 2.91-acres lot located in the Dublin Transit Center. The parcel is currently a paved parking lot adjacent to Avalon Dublin Station Phase II and the Dublin BART Transit Station.

The apartment is made up of approximately 80 different unit types consisting of a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom units; including lofts of one, two and three bedroom units. Public space and amenities included mail facility, landscaped courtyard, secure bike parking, swimming pool, controlled unit and parking access, and amenity space to be designed and developed. This project has a LEED goal of LEED for Homes Silver Certification.

As a subconsultant to Niles Bolton Associates, Aetypic’s scope includes civil engineering design services for the preparation of the site plans for the proposed project. Aetypic prepared grading plan, utility plan, horizontal control plan, storm drainage calculations, erosion control plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), and engineer’s estimate. Aetypic also provided construction administration services including bid documents and shop drawing review.
