Since 2016, Aetypic has provided as-needed architecture and engineering services for Kaiser Permanente in both Oakland and Richmond. In 2017, the Aetypic team provided design services for renovations to the Kaiser Oakland Medical Office's 4th floor reception area in order to accommodate an increase from two to three workstations. The existing reception partial height walls and ceiling soffit were demolished and rebuilt; built-in case work was removed and base cabinets replaced; doors were moved; and electrical and lighting were relocated.
Scope of work included Architectural, Electrical/Lighting Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Interior Design/Furniture professional services for the preparation of a document package sufficient for construction cost estimating purposes; preparation of Construction Documents, and oversight during the Construction Phase.
